Using specialized pattern software, my clients’ measurements are entered into the software to create patterns drafted to their specific builds.  A test garment called a sloper is then created to ensure the measurements are accurate, and if needed the measurements are tweaked.  My client then has complete design control over each garment, selecting sleeve, neckline and other design elements.  If requested, I then use specialized embroidery software to add embellishments to the garment.  This can be specific designs, logos, lace, or other requests.   Garments created are jackets, dresses, skirts, bridal attire, pants and children’s wear.  Awards and recognition include Minnesota State Fair Sweepstakes Champion twice for Infants and Toddlers, multiple first place ribbons in Women’s, Infants and Toddlers and Children’s division categories.  Experience includes teaching the embroidery software for various sewing machine dealers, teaching sewing classes and machine classes.

As a Project Manager, I worked with multiple teams to coordinate server changes to bring servers into compliance with Payment Card Industry standards.  Wrote change requests to submit to the Change Management Team, coordinated needed tasks by creating task plans.  Ensure change requests are submitted and closed in a timely manner according to bank standards.  Worked with compliance review teams to provide evidence that PCI compliance changes have been made.

 

Forensic and PCI/Compliance Experience:

Best Buy Corporation              Richfield, MN              System Administrator/Forensics Analyst              Sept 2005 to June 2013

Served as System Administer by managing the internal monitoring application used by Best Buy to monitor employees’ use of company assets.  System was Raytheon’s Sureview that includes 12 Linux servers. Administration duties included updating system as needed. Responsibilities with Sureview include configuring the 12 Linux servers, troubleshooting the application and working with business teams to resolve database issues. Created detailed task lists needed for upgrades, arranged meetings between the vendor, database administrators, data center manager and myself to review task plans before beginning upgrades.  Provided status updates through verbal and written means.  Sought opportunities to learn and to gain more responsibility. Acquired and created images of computer hard drives and verified integrity of images through hashes. Strong knowledge of the Change Management process using Remedy ITSM and ServiceNow, PCI requirements.  Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Adobe Creative Suite 4 and 5 products.  Experience on the user end with Archer versions 4 (3 years) and 5 (over 1 year).  Archer is used to open incidents, track their progress, track time spent working on each incident and closing when event is resolved.
